HAPPY DR. SEUSS DAY, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!
So me and my bestie decided to decorate glasses with beads and I just grabbed random glasses from my closet and she got orange ones and I got green ones and the first thing I thought of was the onceler and decided to make glasss based off of him!
Ok so, another wiki im on is “The Music Freaks Wiki” and I made a fan art on the main protagonist(Jake) as the onceler(from the movie), and that’s kinda dr Seuss related so here it is!
Y’all ik I can’t draw don’t judge me-
Yall so I was listening to “how bad can I be?” From the Lorax and if you don’t know, there’s a line in it that’s like how ba-a-a-ad can I be.. etc. and I was listening to it in the car on Bluetooth and my sister(whose never heard of the Lorax) was singing “how bad-cat-bad-cat can I be?” And I was just staring at her like “girl-“

This book is called The Godivas Go Riding by Random House.
It is a sequel to the obscure book The Seven Lady Godivas by Dr. Seuss.
https://seuss.fandom.com/wiki/The_Seven_Lady_Godivas
It takes place after the events of the original book with The Godiva sisters being happily married to The Peeping Brothers and living in individual castles. While they are happy with living married lives, they began missing being in each other's company.
They get together for a family reunion and decide to go on an adventure.
They leave England and travel on a horse and they go into a forest containing various trees and animals. After going into the forest, they get off the horse and set up camp.
Once they have set up camp, they decide to partake in a bunch of fun-filled activities. The first activity that they do is swimming. They find a river to cool off in. Teenie becomes excited by the sight of it. She becomes so excited that she runs to it jumps up into the air and does a cannonball in it causing a huge splash. She tells the rest of the sisters to join her in the river as the water is refreshing. Dorcas J. Arabella, Mitzi, Lulu, and Gussie all dive in. Hedwig is reluctant at first but after some encouragement from the rest of the sisters, she eventually dives in as well. They all began laughing and splashing at each other gleefully at their heart's content. After cooling off in the river, they all make their exit from it and lay in the grass in order to dry themselves off with the help of the sun's rays.
The second activity is hiking up a mountain, the third activity is running through the woods, the fourth activity is climbing trees, the fifth one is meditating while humming, the sixth activity is doing yoga in the grass, and the seventh and final activity is preparing food and beverages.
They go around the woods and find several fruits and vegetables. They grab a picnic basket that contains several cups and tea bags. They prepare the tea and they each pour it into their cups. They grab a blanket to place in the grass. They sit on the blanket, eat their food and drink their tea.
While doing this, they all discuss their marriage lives with The Peeping Brothers as well as their mother Lady Godiva herself.
They talk about much their husbands mean to them and what their mother stood for. Once they notice that the sun is setting, they decide that it is time to leave the forest. They pack their belongings, get on the horse, and travel back to England.
Before heading home, they visit the castle that they once lived in with their father Lord Godiva during his lifetime and before they became engaged and married to The Peeping Brothers. They discuss how he made them the strong, confident, independent women that they are today and how determined they were in finding horse truths to achieve their goal of marrying each of The Peeping Brothers. Not wanting to keep their husbands waiting any longer, they all leave the castle, say their farewells, and go back into their individual castles. The book ends with each of them discussing the adventure that they had with each of their respective husbands.
This is Teenie Godiva. https://seuss.fandom.com/wiki/Clementina_%22Teenie%22_Godiva
Her full name is Clementina. Her sisters are Dorcas J. Arabella, Mitzi, Lulu, Gussie, and Hedwig. Their mother is Lady Godiva and their father is Lord Godiva. Their husbands are Peeping Tom, Peeping Dick, Peeping Harry, Peeping Jack, Peeping Drexel, Peeping Sylvester, and Peeping Frelinghuysen. Like their mother Lady Godiva, Teenie, Dorcas J. Arabella, Mitzi, Lulu, Gussie, and Hedwig are all naked as they do not wear any clothes at all throughout the story. The only few differences between them are their ages, hair colors, and body types.
In the story, their reason for being naked is revealed as carrying on the legacy of their mother as she rode on a horse completely naked throughout Coventry in order to have taxes lowered which were set by their father Lord Godiva in England. It is also revealed in the story that Teenie has been insecure because of her large size as it prevents her from being easily able to ride horses during her travels. However, she overcomes it by receiving help from each of her sisters. Despite this, she does not let it get her down and she becomes proud of her size.

I created this post for 4 important reasons. 1. This Wednesday was International Women's Day. 2. How the Grinch Lost Christmas was announced as a sequel to How the Grinch Stole Christmas just a couple of weeks ago, and 3. Unlike most of Dr. Seuss's well-known properties such as The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas Horton Hears a Who, and Green Eggs and Ham, The Seven Lady Godivas is a lesser-known property. It was one of the only 2 books that Dr. Seuss wrote for adults. The other one was You're Only Old Once.
https://seuss.fandom.com/wiki/You're_Only_Old_Once!?so=search
Neither of these books sold well which resulted in Seuss focusing on writing books that were geared towards children.
Now, I'm going to be honest here. When I first discovered The Seven Lady Godivas, I was rather surprised that it was written by Seuss himself. I didn't think that he would ever write a book like this. I always pictured him as a pure, wholesome human being. He must've had some pretty jacked up perceptions on how women behaved during his lifetime. You would think that he'd have had second thoughts on writing it so as to not offend any of the females living on this planet that we call home.
So, what do you guys think of this idea? Should there be a sequel book to The Seven Lady Godivas? And if so, how well would it sell in stores? Also, should there be an animated adaptation like several other properties that have been released by Dr. Seuss over the past several years?
Please feel free to give any of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, or opinions pertaining to this post in the comment section below.

Netflix and Dr. Seuss Enterprises today announced they will bring some of the most iconic and beloved stories and characters of Dr. Seuss to life with five new animated preschool series and specials. The announcement expands the partnership even further, following the launch of the critically acclaimed animated series Green Eggs and Ham in 2019, which will have its anticipated second season premiere April 8.
The projects are inspired by treasured stories like Horton Hears a Who!; The Sneetches; One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; and Wacky Wednesday, in addition to lovable characters like Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose. Executive producer Dustin Ferrer (Esme & Roy, Shimmer & Shine, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) will serve as showrunner across all five, and additional showrunners will be revealed in the coming weeks.

In "The Second Serving," Sam and Guy’s adventures take them around the globe and outside their comfort zones as they get caught between two sides of a delicious conflict!
It looks like Jim Carrey will be in that awesome movie where he'll be happy to portray and play as Dr. Seuss!

It looks just exactly similar to the front cover of The Seven Lady Godivas when Dr. Seuss first published it back in 1939.
Theodor Seuss Geisel you are the best and most wonderful American writer and cartoonist, known as your classic children's beloved storybooks under the pen of your name.
I usually love your books 📚 such as The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant , The Grinch, and many more! I'll always remember like having fun with you and your characters, as making new friends would be the best memory adventure of two fascinating worlds!
I’ve been thinking. What would the numbers of the Dr. Seuss books if they were arranged in such a fashion, such as The Cat in The Hat at No. 1?
