Audrey Grace Florine Geisel (August 14, 1921 - December 19, 2018) was Dr. Seuss's second wife and widow. She was in charge of his estate.

Audrey Grace Florine Stone was born on August 14, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois[1] to Norman Alfred Stone and Ruth Benson. She formerly had a job as a nurse. In 1945, she married Dr. E. Grey Dimond. Shortly after divorcing Dimond, she married Theodor Geisel aka Dr. Seuss in 1968.[1]
After Theodor's passing in 1991, Audrey was in charge of his estate, founded Dr. Seuss Enterprises, and became the CEO of the Dr. Seuss Foundation.
Geisel passed away at her home in La Jolla, California on December 19, 2018, at the age of 97.[1] The Grinch, which she was an executive producer for, had been released the month prior.
