The Birthday Bird is a mysterious large fowl who resides in Katroo. Apparently, his job is to throw children an amazing party on their special day. He engages the individual in a fantastical birthday celebration, from dawn to late night. The celebration includes fantastical and colorful gifts, foods and a whirl of activities all arranged by the Birthday Bird for the individual's birthday. The bird would conclude with the happy and exhausted youngster falling blissfully asleep. He was created by Theodor Geisel in the 1959 book Happy Birthday to You!.
In the Book he takes the Boy in the story to an amazing party by on an amazing adventure on having fun with him as he enjoys his special day from morning until night.
He is voiced by John Kennedy in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.
