Bob Clampett (May 8, 1913- May 2, 1984) was an American animator, producer, director, and puppeteer best known for his work on the Looney Tunes animated series from Warner Bros. When the war began he was assigned to team up with Dr. Seuss to make the Private Snafu series. After the war was over he teamed up with Dr. Seuss again to make the animated version of Horton Hatches the Egg (1942).
