Mayzie McGrew is the protagonist of Daisy-Head Mayzie. She is first seen with a bright yellow daisy growing out of from her head. It causes alarm in her classroom, family, and town, until an agent makes her a celebrity. The Cat in the Hat then helps Mayzie to understand her problem and persuades her to go back home. She is voiced by Fran Smith.

Mayzie McGrew is a young girl. She is adorable, warm-hearted, curious, unsentimental, anxiety, friendly, sweet and innocent. When a daisy sprouts right out of her hair, she was easily craziness until she becomes Mayzie a star of a show by Finagle the agent. However, Mayzie McGrew didn't have to be famous, she changes her heart to become a happier and she loved their friends and family.
