Matthew George Frewer (born January 4, 1958), commonly called Matt Frewer, is an American Canadian actor,[1] singer, voice artist and comedian. Acting since 1983, he is best known for portraying the 1980s icon Max Headroom,[2] and Doctor Leekie in the Canadian science fiction drama Orphan Black (2013–17).
Frewer's most recent performances include a cameo appearance as Max Headroom in Pixels in 2015 and a portrayal of "General #2" in the Steven Spielbergpicture The BFG in 2016.
He portrays The Cat in the Hat in the movie In Search of Dr. Seuss.
