The North-Going Zax is a Zax that only goes straight to the north not budging to the east or west. As he is walking in the desert, he and the South-Going-Zax bump into each other then they have an argument about not moving to the west of each but both want each other to move out the way so they can keep moving on so they both stay still waiting for each other to move. However that doesn't happen as time passes through the seasons and as years go by and the desert has now became a place for public civilization and the two Zaxes in between angrily are still standing in the same spot faced one another under the highways of cars passing.
In Dr. Seuss on the Loose', he and the South-going Zax are voiced by Hans Conried.
