The Peter Lorre Fish is a character who only appears in the animated adaptation of Horton Hatches the Egg. He is a caricature of the late actor Peter Lorre. In the film, after he sees Horton while sitting on Mayzie's egg on a boat, he says, "Well, now I've seen everything!" and proceeds to pull out a gun and shoot himself.
