Shirley[1] is a pink bird with an orange beak and feathered plumes originated in The Muppet Show. In The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "The Cat in the Hat's Indoor Picnic" where it's her only appearance throughout the Dr. Seuss series, she is found in the Out in the Jungle song referred to as a snark accompanied by Mick Maputo Bird.
