The Mean One is a 2022 American Christmas black comedy slasher film directed by Steven LaMorte and written by Flip and Finn Kobler. The film serves as an unauthorized horror retelling of Dr. Seuss' 1957 children's book How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. It stars David Howard Thornton as the Mean One, who most famously played Art the Clown in Terrifer films. There are 20 kills in the movie, 11 of which are male, 8 of which are female, and 1 of which are unknown.[1]
