Dr. Seuss Wiki

For my second blog, I will be discussing my second Seuss OC I made, and my very first villain OC. Though to a lesser extend, an evil henchman. Keep in mind that this is not a real Seuss character.

Bio[]

The Golden Ghost works under his boss, The Grinch. He allows the ghost to do his bidding for him like tormenting the Whos in Whoville. Worst of all, the Golden Ghost cleaverly steals money from the Whos normally, or with a disguise that would trick the Whos into giving him money (ex. An injured elderly citizen). While the Golden Ghost is the Grinch's henchman, the Golden Ghost has henchmen of his own called Who-dlums, which are all an army of Whoville's most wanted thieves, bank robbers, bandits, swinders, con artists, and other sorts of criminals. Like the Grinch and his dog Max, he too resides on Mt. Crumpit. His side of the cave however is filled with a money stash (which although isn't shown, is mentioned by the ghost) and sleeps in a coffin at night as his snoring is the same breathing as Darth Vader's.

Abilities -

  1. Flying
  2. Levitation (with his red lightsaber)
  3. Invisibility (because he's a ghost)
  4. Screaming in a loud booming voice (like a stereotypical ghost)
  5. Shape-shifting
  6. Carry a red lightsaber and attack with it

Songs he sang[]

Halloween is Grinch Night (1977)

  1. Grinch Night Ball (with his boss)
  2. Ooga-Booga! (with his boss) [Note: Only sings the second half of the song]

The Grinch Grinches The Cat in the Hat (1982)

  1. The Master of Everyone's Ears (with his boss)
  2. The Most Horrible Things (with his boss)

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000 film)

  1. Poor Unfortunate Souls [Note: "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is not used in the actual movie itself, just my version only. Also, he only sings the first half of the song during the flashback when he first sees Young Grinch and promises to take away his memories of being humilated in school and lets him join the dark side.]
  2. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch (with his boss) [Note: My version only features an extended score, used as the Golden Ghost inspects the Who-dlums' elf outfits as part of the Grinch's operation]
  3. Welcome Christmas (with his boss and all the other Whos after reforming) [Note: My version only features an extended score that play during the end, which would be the "Star Wars" ending score]

How the Grinch Stole Christmas/The Grinch (DSCU)

  1. Temptation Song [Note: "The Temptation Song" is not used in the actual movie itself, just my version only. It's used for an exclusive scene in my version when the Golden Ghost pulls the Grinch over to the Whoville Hospital to rob a golden tooth while performing oral surgery. The Golden Ghost sings verse 1 when they enter floor and exit the elevator, then he commands a Who-dlum to play the instrumental solo as he and the Grinch operate, then finally, the Golden Ghost sings the final verse as the surgeons cheer while the villains head for the elevator with the golden tooth they retrived.]
  2. I'm Number One (You're Number Two) [Note: "I'm Number One" is not used in the actual movie itself, just my version only. To make up for one of the film's missed opportunities, my version has the Grinch singing this with his henchman after announcing his plan to steal Christmas after destroying the celebration and "killing" Euchariah (actually it was his glasses that got left behind, but he doesn't reveal he's alive until the end as he shows the Grinch and the Golden Ghost the error of their ways), who appears exclusively in my version as a connection for "The Grinch" part of the Dr. Seuss Cinematic Universe (and in case Illumination (under Universal) or Warner Animation Group decide to make the prequel, "Halloween is Grinch Night" into a theatrical movie).]
