Wesley is the son of Dan and Rose. He makes an appearance in the Lorax, and could be considered one of the young Incidentals.
Appearance[]
He has brown hair, and previously peach skin, now a glowing lime colour. He has black eyes. In the picture, he is shown wearing blue and black swimming goggles, with blue and pink shorts, being highlighted with tiny white stripes after every blue stripe. In the first few minutes of the film, he can be seen wearing blue and black flippers, but for the remaining time he is in the film, he is barefoot.
Role In Film[]
Wesley doesn't have a persistent role in the film, however, he is used to show the viewers at the start and end of the film exactly how polluted the air is in Thneedville. It is noticeable how the change in both his and his parent's behaviour becomes more aware to the danger towards the end of the film. He is also used by his parents to display the negative effect the air and surroundings is having on their child.
